First week

The team meets daily at 10:00 AM in the Maple conference room (or on Zoom — check Slack for the link). On your first day, just listen and introduce yourself. No pressure to have updates yet.
-
A quick guide to how the team works — coding standards, PR review process, deploy cadence, and who to ask about what. It's in the team's shared Google Drive folder. Budget about 30 minutes for it.
-
Send a calendar invite to Jamie Park (your manager) for a 30-minute chat. This is just a casual check-in — talk about how the first week is going, ask questions, and start thinking about your 30-day goals together.

Three modules in the Learning Portal: workplace conduct, anti-harassment, and data privacy. About 45 minutes total. You can do them in one sitting or spread them out — whatever works for you.
-
Work with Jamie to set 2-3 realistic goals for your first month. These should be achievable and help you learn the codebase and team processes. Think "get familiar with" rather than "master everything."
